Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Some believe the tax overhaul bill signed by President Trump could spur a landmark shift in philanthropy, speeding along the decline of donors, particularly in the middle-class, and transforming charitable gift-giving into a pursuit largely left to the wealthy. The source of concern is how the tax bill is expected to sharply reduce the number of taxpayers who qualify for the charitable tax deduction.

Should people only give money when the government subsidizes them? Aren’t Christians in particular taught by the Lord Jesus to give sacrificially?

As Believers, we are asked first to give to our church, and then to support other charities if we so choose.

Our Ministry has been sustained for nearly two decades by the effective prayers and generous gifts from a handful of God’s people; but today, we are confident the time has come for the Lord to enlarge our territory and grow our Ministry.

This end of year, would you consider adding OSS Ministry to your list? Your gift will be used for the following activities:

1. The completion of a much more accurate Creole Translation of the Bible (26 of 66 books already done)...(Along with an Mp3 version of each book – ‘Faith comes by hearing’ – To bypass the obstruction caused the high level of illiteracy)

2. Our Church in Plaisance du Nord, Haiti

3. The Haiti Repentance 2014-2024 March (Taking the message of repentance and faith in Christ to all 10 Departments, 145 Communes, and 580 Communal Sections; and distribute brochures)

4. Our Youth Program (Bible Study, Chess, and Table Tennis)
