A YEAR IN PRAYER    "Using God's Word to pray"

Are you anxious about the future, fearful of what tomorrow will bring, or do you place everything at the feet of the Lord?

Are you laboring hard to get right with God, but find yourself crushed daily under the heavy load of your sins?

Do you rest on Christ by faith; and does your faith rest on Christ alone?

DAY # 310

TODAY’S REQUEST:

PRAYING THAT WE FIND REST IN THE LORD

Exodus 33:14 And He said, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."
Psalms 37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.
Matthew 11:28 "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:29 "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
2 Corinthians 7:5 For indeed, when we came to Macedonia, our bodies had no rest, but we were troubled on every side. Outside were conflicts, inside were fears.
Hebrews 3:11 So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’"
Hebrews 3:18 And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey?
Hebrews 4:1 Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it.

HOW DO THE SCRIPTURES TELL US TO EXPRESS THIS REQUEST?

WITH ASSURANCE THAT REAL REST CAN ONLY BE FOUND IN HIM

2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Hebrews 4:9 There remains therefore a rest for the people of God.
Hebrews 4:10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.
Hebrews 4:11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.
1 Peter 1:13 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
