A YEAR IN PRAYER    "Using God's Word to pray"

When the ungodly, the wicked, and the unbelieving world ridicule and persecute you as a disciple of Christ, will you have the courage to endure and persevere in the faith?

According to the Scriptures, many will deny Christ during the tribulation that is to come; will you be among them?

How do you react now, when faced with opposition and hostility, because of your biblical convictions and your Christ-like character?

DAY # 233

TODAY’S REQUEST:

COURAGE TO ENDURE TRIBULATION

Matthew 13: 20 "But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21 "yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.
Matthew 24:9 "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.
Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Romans 5:3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;
Romans 12: 10-14 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; 11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; 12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; 13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality. 14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
