A YEAR IN PRAYER    "Using God's Word to pray"

After considering the perfect law of God, did you repent and convert or did your heart harden and rebel?

Have your attempts to observe the law on your own contributed to frustration, discouragement… and you are now faking righteous living?

Has the law of God been written on your heart and converted your soul after you repented of your sins?

DAY # 159

TODAY’S REQUEST:

PRAYING FOR FAITH IN GOD:

THE LAW OF THE LORD IS PERFECT, CONVERTING THE SOUL

Psalms 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;
Psalms 119:1 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the LORD!
Psalms 35:9 And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD; It shall rejoice in His salvation.
Psalms 86:13 For great is Your mercy toward me, And You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.
Psalms 116:8 For You have delivered my soul from death, My eyes from tears, And my feet from falling.
Psalms 130:5 I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope. 6 My soul waits for the Lord More than those who watch for the morning––Yes, more than those who watch for the morning.

HOW DO THE SCRIPTURES TELL US TO EXPRESS THIS REQUEST?

A SOUL NO LONGER DOMINATED BY THE FLESH, BUT BY THE SPIRIT

Psalms 30:1-5 I will extol You, O LORD, for You have lifted me up, And have not let my foes rejoice over me. 2 O LORD my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me. 3 O LORD, You brought my soul up from the grave; You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. 4 Sing praise to the LORD, You saints of His, And give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name. 5 For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.
Psalms 41:4 I said, "LORD, be merciful to me; Heal my soul, for I have sinned against You."
Psalms 34:22 The LORD redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.
Psalms 86:4 Rejoice the soul of Your servant, For to You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
Psalms 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.
Psalms 71:23 My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to You, And my soul, which You have redeemed.
Psalms 49:15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave, For He shall receive me.
