A YEAR IN PRAYER    "Using God's Word to pray"

Do you know how to really find out if God has forgiven you, ask yourself this question: Am I being transformed into the likeness of Christ Jesus, living a victorious life against sin, the devil and the world?

Can an unrepentant heart, an idol worshiper, and a rebellious spirit find the forgiveness of God while rejecting His grace?

Those who have truly been forgiven have given up a life of sin; have you?

DAY # 155

TODAY’S REQUEST:

GIVING THANKS TO THE LORD:

FOR THERE IS FORGIVENESS WITH HIM

Daniel 9:9 "To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against Him.
Mark 3:28 "Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter; 29 "but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation"
Colossians 1:13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

HOW DO THE SCRIPTURES TELL US TO EXPRESS THIS REQUEST?

UNDESERVED BUT LIMITLESS FORGIVENESS

Psalms 130:4 But there is forgiveness with You, That You may be feared.
Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
Acts 13:38 "Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; 39 "and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Acts 26:12 "While thus occupied, as I journeyed to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priest, 13 "at midday, O king, along the road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me. 14 "And when we all had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’ 15 "So I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said, ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. 16 ‘But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you. 17 ‘I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, 18 ‘to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.
