A YEAR IN PRAYER    "Using God's Word to pray"

Do you remain standing while people around you bow before idols?

Are you training yourself to resist evil and persevere in the faith in these last days?

Will the fear of men overcome your fear of God when you face threats and persecution?

DAY # 153

TODAY’S REQUEST:

PRAYING FOR FAITH IN GOD:

THE LORD IS THE STRENGTH OF MY LIFE; OF WHOM SHALL I BE AFRAID?

Psalms 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
Exodus 15:2 The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.
Psalms 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him.
Psalms 43:2 For You are the God of my strength; Why do You cast me off? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
Psalms 59:17 To You, O my Strength, I will sing praises; For God is my defense, My God of mercy.
Psalms 62:7 In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God.
Psalms 31:4 Pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me, For You are my strength.

HOW DO THE SCRIPTURES TELL US TO EXPRESS THIS REQUEST?

ASKING: IF THE LORD IS FOR US, WHO SHALL BE AGAINST US?

2 Samuel 22:1-7 Then David spoke to the LORD the words of this song, on the day when the LORD had delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. 2 And he said: "The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; 3 The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my refuge; My Savior, You save me from violence. 4 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies. 5 ‘When the waves of death surrounded me, The floods of ungodliness made me afraid. 6 The sorrows of Sheol surrounded me; The snares of death confronted me. 7 In my distress I called upon the LORD, And cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, And my cry entered His ears.
Psalms 18:1 I will love You, O LORD, my strength. 2 The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Psalms 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.
